The SUP packs down to an unrivalled size while still keeping the rigidity & performance of the rest of the Red Paddle range with their new PACT™ technology. Every detail and component in the package has been designed to minimise the size & weight without affecting performance, the bag is so small you can even take it as hand luggage on some airplanes! The 9'6" can be used by all level of paddlers; the board has been kept 32" wide to provide extra stability, whilst still tracking well over longer distances and being able to perform in the surf, this really is the ultimate adventure board!

Board Description

Red Paddle Co have use a new weaving process to create an extra-high-tensile thread matrix at the core of the board that combines with a super-strong but malleable outer layer and a tensile quad stringer-system. The result is a board that always keeps its shape when inflated, but packs down to an ultra-small size once you've let out the air. The board wraps around itself and the Titan pump. The split deck pad and offset valve creates a ‘living hinge', allowing the board to fold easily down the middle.

The Bag

Red have gone above and beyond with the new Compact backpack, it applies approximately 53% less down force on the carrier's lower back so you can travel for longer in comfort. With customisable lumbar support and adjustable height features it's suitable for almost any size of paddler. Designed to be the ultimate in comfort the bag has concentrated shoulder padding, tubular closed cell padding on the handles & brushed cotton shoulder and back cushioning. The Paddle

Red have created a 5 piece paddle to fit into the backpack, to create such a compact paddle without compromising performance the shaft is made of high-modulus carbon for extra rigidity, with a durable pure nylon blade. This blade is laser etched; with no printing produced with a single pure material, meaning the design will stay on forever, resulting in no aesthetic implications.

The Fins

The fins have even been redesigned specifically for the 9'6"; using FCS II's simple click in FIN system with an extra screw for security, the two off set fin boxes are also compatible with standard FCS fins, so you can customise the feel of your board on the water.

Titan Pump

Supplied with Red Paddles Titan pump you can pump the board up to pressure and be on the water in half the time, pumping air at an impressive 60mph. The pump mixes double chamber performance and a clever switching system and unique Hi-Flo handle system to achieve the new bench mark in inflatable board pump technology.

MSL

MSL fusion composite and airtight coating, MSL involves fusing a second layer of hard-wearing polymer to the drop stitch core at the raw material stage, removing hand gluing errors. The high-tech industrial process also saves almost 2kg in weight and makes the boards stiffer at lower pressures.
