The Circle One 9' 6" Bamboo Noserider; is a truly classic shape honed and perfected since the early 70's when Circle One shaper, Jeff Townsley, tested his own shapes at the longboarding mecca of Saunton Sands, North Devon.  The Noserider really sits in a class of its own and has a broad appeal from beginner to advanced riders looking for a truly authentic longboard experience.  The progressive bottom contours start with a shallow nose concave to a flat mid-section and V to the tail - perfect for effortless take-offs and the ability to hold the wave when walking the board and hanging ten.  Neutral 50/50 rails provide optimum drag to hit the sweet spot and the transition to a 60/40 profile on the tail enables smooth cutbacks and re-entries.  A board with decades of heritage built into its DNA and the ability to really inspire you to develop your noseriding technique.

They use a full 1.5mm thick sustainably sourced bamboo sheet in the production of our bamboo surfboard range, so the bamboo becomes integral to the sandwich construction of the board.  This produces a board with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, and unique flex and responsive ride characteristics which come from the bamboo. Some other manufacturer's boards sold as 'bamboo' may use a paper-thin veneer bamboo sheet (as little as 0.2mm thick) or a 'printed' bamboo-effect veneer and whilst it may look nice, offers no construction benefits.
