Quality Control

With all items we send from our warehouse we go through a thorough quality control check to ensure the items arrive with you in a good working condition. We also make sure to package our items properly to make sure they don’t get damaged in transit, however we do understand that damage can occur during transit with the courier.

In your parcel you will see an order form/invoice. This will have been signed by a member of our packing team to show they have checked over the item to see it is in good working condition and that it is the correct product. If we notice any defects with a product prior to sending and it is the last one we have in stock, we will contact you before we send it to make you aware and to see if you are still happy to receive the product. In most of these cases we are also happy to offer you a percentage discount on your order if you are happy to have the product.

If you think you have received the wrong item or an item that has been damaged in transit please contact us at [email protected] and include images of the damage.

 

Returns Policy

The Wetsuit Centre has a strict 90 days return policy on all items purchased on our website from the date of the order.

We do not cover the cost of any returns. However, we do cover the cost of exchanges, subject to the item being available in stock. You must ensure the item being returned is in an unused and original condition including all tags and packaging. Any fit issues must be resolved before the item is used.

For a smooth exchange process, please include a note indicating the desired size. In case the size is unavailable, we will issue a refund, and you will receive a "credit memo" email, which is a notice of your refund. Please be aware that exchanges are only possible for an equivalent product in a different size.

For purchases through our Retail and Outlet Stores you have 30 days from the purchase date to return eligible items for a full refund or exchange, as long as the returned items are in their original condition with all tags and hygiene stickers intact. Items must be unworn and unused, with no visible signs of wear.

To return items in-store you must provide the original till receipt.

For exchanges please include a note stating the item you would like to swap too, if it is not in stock we will issue a full refund instead. If the item you are wanting to exchange to is a higher price we would suggest sending the first item back for a refund and placing a new order for the exchange item.

If an item is damaged from use it will need to go through the warranty process, please email us at [email protected] with clear images and a member of our warranty team will assist you from there.

We cannot accept returns on cosmetic products, e.g. SPF products, lip balms, hair products, nail varnishes etc. and certain jewellery items like earrings for hygiene reasons.

We unable to accept returns on swimwear for hygiene reasons.

Warranty

All wetsuits we sell have a 1 year warranty and all wetsuits accessories have a 3 month warranty from when the item was purchased.

The warranty process will only cover manufacturing defects to an item such as a split in the seam, loose stitching, broken zips and collapsed neoprene. The warranty process will not cover any tears/holes in an item that are not on the seam, these will be deemed as user error.

The warranty process can take a couple of weeks, we send the details of damage/item of to the supplier and it is down to them the outcome of the warranty claim. This can either be a repair, replacement, credit (voucher code for our website – no refund) or they can decide it is not suitable for warranty. If the item you contact us is failed by the warranty process it will need to be repaired by an external company at your own cost.

If you feel the item you have purchased from us has a manufacturing defect please contact us via email at [email protected] and we can follow up with next steps. Please include images of the defect in the email as well as your order details such as an order number. If you purchased the item from one of our stores please also send us an image of proof of purchase, this can be a receipt for the item or a bank statement proving payment was made.

Wetsuits being returned to The Wetsuit Centre for assessment or inspection must be returned to us in a reasonable condition, this means clean, completely dry and rolled up neatly to prevent issues in transit. Suits/items returned to us that are not neatly packed, or damp or wet will be returned to the sender immediately and the cost of doing so invoiced.
We at the Wetsuit Centre, the brand in question, or the repair service will not handle wetsuits unless presented in a Clean and Dry condition.
