The O'Neill Hyperfreak range of wetsuits was a new addition to the O'Neill range back in 2014 and has proved to be a very popular selling suit. It is 100% Technobutter neoprene, which is O'Neill's new material which is lighter, less absorbent of water and incredibly flexible. Given all these outstanding features, it is no surprise how much this suit has been in demand. The ridges in the neoprene lead to the water being drawn down and out of the wetsuit. Being a chest zip construction, you can be assured of maximum movement, and the better you move, the less tired you will become in the water. The wetsuit comes in a 2/3mm summer version and 4/3mm or 5/4mm neoprene winter versions, so the thicker the suit, the warmer you will be. Summer wetsuits are far more flexible, though, so we all love the summertime for freedom of movement.
The latest wetsuit in the Hyperfreak family for 2023 is the O'Neill Hyperfreak Fire wetsuit range. Constructed of the new TechnoButter 4 TB4X neoprene, considered the spearhead of wetsuit technology, the hyper freak fire offers a wetsuit level-up like no other. Some of its features include: TB4X fully taped seams, minimal seam design and its composed of recycled and sustainable materials. You can check out our O'Neill Hyperfreak video review for more information on this wetsuit.
